Thanks for  the info…..I took the faceplateoff, disassembled it and and cleaned the contacts (I believe that they are a carbon composite… It works perfect now… Thanks again Butch C.W. Drop 4D from e-mail for reply !!

On my 2001 Sport, the volume knob jumps up or down in loudness depending on which way I’m turning it. So it’s probably not long for this world.
