Question:

i wouldnt recomend messing with that… consider it more, maybe install the CB in the ashtray area if you dont use it.. the visors on vehicles are very sensitive, and after you mess with them they may give you trouble quicker.  and the ones in explorers are iluminated so they are hard wired in more trouble than it is worth i think.  just my opinion, and good luck

All,     I am looking for an overhead shelf that I can mount in my 1994 XLT so that I can put my cb there.  Any suggestions?  The models that I have looked at all noted that they would not work with the dual visor’s, which mine does have.  Thanks in advance.     David
