Dunnno’ from webpages, I towed a 1960 Chev Impala 4 door on a tow dolly from Gulfport Miss.,  to Saint Paul Minn. in less than 24 hours. ‘91  Expl;orer/w 5 speed manual.  Needed a tranny fluid change right after. Explorer had 50k miles then, 92k now, no problems with driveline yet.

Just call a dealer for the answer.  The people there should be able to tell you if you know what kind of hitch class you have installed.  If your only hitch is a ball on the bumper, you really should get at least a class 2 hitch. — Dan and Linda
