2000 Explorer and Kleenex Tissue

Question:

I recently purchased a 2000 Explorer, and am wondering how to replace and or remove the Kleenex dispenser from the center console.  Any ideas?

Response:

Hi there, congrats on the new purchase!! You must take it to the dealer to have them remove the transmission to get to the Kleenex, about 13 hours labor, plus cost of Kleenex…. Just kiddin….. Well, the way  to do it, open the center console, you will see the coin tray, pull up on that, it is a whole assembly that houses the Kleenex. Swap it out and you’re set! Good luck

They aren’t on the shelf with the regular boxes of Kleenex.  If you look by the pharmacy, they sell travel size/sample size products.  They are usually on these shelves…look for Kleenex Juniors. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – > My local Target (VA) doesn’t carry them. :( >And you can get replacement travel size kleenex at TARGET… >-Gary L. >> Hi there, congrats on the new purchase!! >> You must take it to the dealer to have them remove the transmission to get to >> the Kleenex, about 13 hours labor, plus cost of Kleenex…. They carry them in VA Beach, usually near the Rx counter.  3 little boxes to a pack for $2.19.  I had to ask where they were, so your store may have them. snip Call Kimberly-Clark.  You can order a half case (24) or a full case (48) direct from them. The number is (508)755-7681; It was $22 for a half case plus shipping. HTH — Freedom is a light for which many have died in darkness.  - Tomb of the Unknown, American Revolution
