Question:

Does anyone have an idea about how much do the fenders, lights, grill, maybe hood, and bumper cover, cost to purchase from the new  2001 explorer and escape suvs??  I want to see if i could fit them on a 98 Explorer sport.  Anyone have info. regarding this?   Or know where i can buy these from like a local dealer or over the internet?  Thanks in advance

Sorry, I juyst read in Car and Driver that every body panel is brand new on the ‘01 Expl Sport with the exception of the Tailgate. Good luck WC

Ugh! I was so glad when I ordered my 2000 Explorer last week.  We saw the brochures and a 2001 in the lot – absolutely nasty looking front end!! But, to each his own I suppose. From what I saw, the rest of the front end looked identical.
